Description
IDP This product adopts mature process of chemical plating, plating nickel on fiber cladding according to required length of the front part of fiber and then plating gold on the nickel layer so as to achieve the purpose of metalizing part of fiber.
It has good weldability, able to bear welding of solder of 280℃ for 30 sec. It has good adhesive force and high strength of extension (the tension of thermal solder mask of IDP reaches 10N).
Total thickness of clad layer: 3-4um, with the the gold-plated layer ≮0.1um
Applications
It is mainly applied to various optical devices that require partial fiber welding or encapsulation of leakproof structure that requires air impermeability of fiber.
