The unique feature of a distributed temperature sensing system is that it provides a continuous (or distributed) temperature profile along the length of the sensing cable and not at discrete sensing points which must be pre-determined. The FT120 is integrated by fiber optics, optoelectronics and high-speed signal acquisition. The embedded software and hardware make it very stable, compact and low power consumption.The FT120 has been widely used in electric power, transportation, petrochemical, coal, metallurgy and other industries.as fiber as a sensing element.

Cause oil with high viscosity, It is easy blocking of oil pipeline during transportation. Usually we heat pipeline to heat crude oil to reduce viscosity. The transportation pipeline works in 70-140℃.The sensing cable testing the temperature (due to the leak of the oil) to judge the Leak accident, and we can get the right position of the leak point with OTDR Technology.
