1528-1565nm Swept Wavelength Laser
Description
Idealphotonics’ IDP-SWL-C (Swept Wavelength
Laser) is designed for fiber sensing applications, especially for FBG fiber
sensing interrogation. Driven by a build-in electronic triangular generator, the
SWL-C swept wavelength laser contains a fast tuable laser source, which
consists of a Fiber Optical Tunable Filter (FOTF) and an Erbium-Doped Fiber
Amplifier (EDFA).
The IDP-SWL-C outputs a
wavelength through continuously scanning the laser beam. The wavelength range
of a standard IDO-SWL-C model covers 1528nm-1565nm C-band. The maximum output
power for the standard SWL-C model is up to 17dBm.
