ZBLAN multimode fiber has a wide range of transparent windows. ZBLAN fiber can transmit single-mode light to a wavelength of 4um by adjusting the core diameter and aperture. Single mode fluoride fiber (SMFF) is more stable than MFF transmission and is more suitable for accurate spectroscopy.
