Micro variable optical high-speed delay line motor drive 488-2000nm
The MDTD series variable optical delay adopts a highly stable mobile platform, novel gap prevention mechanism, and proprietary optical encoder, providing sub micron repeatability, long delay range, low loss, high speed, and compatibility with all wavelengths and types of fibers, including SM, MM, and PM. It consists of two specially designed low loss collimators, which project light from the input fiber into free space, reflect it by a movable retroreflector, and collect it by the output fiber collimator. Variable time delay is achieved by adjusting the distance of light propagation in free space. A precision stepper motor with adjustable speed moves the retroreflector. The device can be controlled through a computer using a USB cable interface, and the software provides intuitive operation with graphical control.
