The Max challenge faced by mid infrared detectors is usually a large amount of inherent noise, and they collect a large amount of noise from the surrounding environment. Our single wavelength detector alleviates these two limitations by using narrowband and efficient upconversion techniques, as well as low-noise silicon-based detectors. All of this is done in our plug and play detector module, where infrared signals are mixed with our high-power pump laser to produce almost visible signals that can be detected by various high response silicon-based detectors. If you don't need ultra-low signal detection, we also offer broadband solutions that reduce efficiency but allow your broadband source to enter the range of high-speed and low-noise mid infrared detectors. Mid infrared quantum cascade ultrafast photodetector 20GHz 4.65um

This is an ultra fast mid infrared photodetector with a response bandwidth exceeding 20GHz (-3 dB). It operates without bias voltage, does not require cooling, and therefore does not require an external power source. The installation process only requires two simple steps: connect the SMA device to the measuring instrument (oscilloscope, etc.) and direct the incident light to the internal focusing lens.
