MFA Fiber Mode Field Matcher 1550nm (Mode Matcher)

MFA mode field matching device (mode matching device) is a special process used to reduce the loss during fusion splicing of optical fibers with different mode field diameters and numerical apertures. It can achieve maximum transmittance of the fundamental mode signal at the melting point, and the transmission direction from small mode field to large mode field is forward, and vice versa. The MFA produced by Xiaoxiao Photon utilizes mode optimization technology to achieve high transmission efficiency and low beam degradation. Pattern matchers are often used in high-power fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers.

Mode Field Adaptor

Mode field adaptation is a key component for achieving effective power coupling between different optical fibers, mainly when coupling is required between large mode area (LMA) or large core fibers and single-mode fibers. By using our MFA product, the coupling loss can be reduced to<0.5 dB.
