Tunable optical filter
Tunable optical filters driven by manual and motor with a wide wavelength range. It is used to adjust the center wavelength of narrow transmission bands within the tuning range of~250nm, with a narrow bandwidth as low as 0.1nm (FWHM) or below. Xiaoxiao Photon's WLTF NE series Gaussian tunable optical filter is based on free space optics combined with diffraction gratings to generate bandpass transmission. It is a 2-port fiber optic tail device. When broadband spectrum is injected into the input port, the adjustable filter selects a narrow portion for output and suppresses the remaining frequency band of the spectrum. The center wavelength of the selected band can be adjusted within a certain range by an electric actuator.
